| There were a lot of people who asked this question after having a negative experience at the LA screenings. |

I'm sorry to hear that there were several people who didn't get into the Hairspray screening. Each screenings has unique circumstances and and its often difficult to tell how many people will show up. For each screening that there are people turned away, there are screenings where half the seats are empty. Typically, it depends on the popularity of the movie. In regards to the people who showed up with "SPECIAL BLACK TICKETS". I have spoken with the studio rep and was informed that this was a caused by a misunderstanding in communication in regards to how the audience should be let into the theater. They appologize for those I have personally been turned away at a couple of screenings and know how FRUSTRATING it is. While we don't have a method in place to compensate people when they are unable to get into the screening. Our goal at FilmMetro is to always be as up front in regards to the screening process and provide our members with as much information as possible. We are thankful for your understanding in this matter and look forward to seeing you at a screening in the future.
Sincerely,
Brian

| My husband and I went to a screening at Mann's Chinese 7/17 and there was almost an angry mob - It looked like they had been passing out tix to all the tourists & there were a lot of them! Of course, we didn't get in to see the film. No need to use your service for these screenings during tourist season if that it what you are going to do! It didn't create a good first impression on us! |
