A Serious Man
|
| LOVED it AND hated it! This movie hit me deeply, reminded me of the frustrations of growing up in a family with a parent who has Aspergers. A Serious Man, seriously folks, represents what it's like living with a person with Aspergers (Aspies). Many Aspies are so serious, they can't connect warmly or empathize with people around them, because their brains are just not wired like the rest of us. After seeing A Serious Man, you'll find the movie brings out many big questions to ponder: what's life like without connecting to people? What it's like living with people who have Aspergers. And more challenging, what it's like living inside the head of a person with Aspergers, in a "normal" world, encountering a cascade of tragic interpersonal events, that you just can't fix?
Enjoy the movie, it'll help you to love your Aspie! |

| Boring movie, the love story was weak, very poor action scenes. |

LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
|
| A great movie to the end, some how the good guy becomes the bad guy but a likeable bad guy. The movie is full of unanticipated action with a straight story line all the way to the last 15-20 minutes, that's when the story time line breaks apart (The bad guy was about 10 minutes ahead of the cops but they get there before him with time to spare!!) Think about it when you see the movie again, and the movie ends in a senseless way. In all I would strongly recommend the movie. |

LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
|
| A very suspensfull twisted thriller. I found my self rooting for the killer for most of the movie. This movie was absolutly awesome....untill the last 15 minutes of the film. It almost seemed like the studio was under pressure to wrap things up quickly, but it could have been so much more.. they could have easily left it open for a sequel...which I would have paid to see, if not for the blah ending. |
