Christmas Carol - Aventura on Monday
Ok, I always loved a Christmas Carol, reminds you of what Christmas is really about….now add some 3D glasses and IMAX and WOW…. Plus if you are sitting the greatest kid of all time you get to see things in a whole different light and it makes it sooo much more special to you….  Personally, I enjoyed the movie, but I will be honest and say it’s PG rated for a very good reason. When things begin jumping out at you….well, I jumped and I can only imagine how a small young child is going to feel…. But the graphics are great and pretty much out of this world.... They did a great job. The story is still pretty much the same, so we don’t have to argue that it was changed or get angry…. One thing… try to sit in the middle, higher up, otherwise you might get a neck ach and miss something….or u might drop your popcorn…..heehee…

UP IN THE AIR
I really enjoyed UP IN THE AIR and I finally had the nerve to actually ask a question at the Q&A after the screening. Make sure to see the movie when it comes out in December

Up in the Air - South Beach.
"Up In the Air" it was ok.. Enjoyed the Q&A.. but....when I go to a movie I perfer to forget about RECESSIONS, or my friends or others being fired, or lost loves or growing old (right:). This movie makes u think and feel kinda sad. Me, I like feeling entertained

Paranormal Activitiy
Best scary movie in a long time. Suspense was spiritual instead of the whole "suspense music" a "scary" movie would have now a days. Not a fan of the whole hand-held type movie but this one didn't bother me. Saw it three times and i finally had the nerve to watch the ending. Great movie.

Where the Wild Things Are - Aventura-Monday
Although I had forgotten about the book, when I saw the movie, I vaguely started remembering the book again and will definitely reread. The movie was good, though somewhat moody with a downbeat atmosphere and it seemed to become bogged down at times. But….Director Spike Jonze did make that up with some very astounding imagination, great performances and magnificent costumes. I really never got tired of looking at the characters with the realistic arms and legs and even the runny noses:). I will admit, yes, ok, I had tears in my eyes at one point. Please remember though it is rated PG13.
