A SERIOUS MAN
I loved it. A movie showing how insulting and stressful life can be. The movie follows a good hard working man that just gets all this stuff thrown at him for no apparent reason. He's screwed over, insulted, tempted and tormented. I'm not sure if I 'got' the whole movie, but I totally enjoyed it.

ZoMbieLaNd!!! and Zombie Walk:)
One of the best Zombie movies in a long time. Humorous and bloody good. Woody Harelson carried the movie but the cast was top notch. I haven't been to a screening in which so many people were into it. From the security taking someone out the theater to the audience cheering woody harelson. The atmosphere fit the movie and the movie lived up to the audience. Also this movie is more of a road movie than anything else. The cameo in the movie was impressive and the opening credits with Metallica blaring in the background was equally impressive. This movie is not what you think it is and the 88% RT reading makes this one a cult classic. Oh the ZombieWalk was great!

WHIP IT
Enjoyed it tonight at AMC La Jolla. A High School students struggle to be what she wants to be instead of following the goals that her Mother sets for her. Very action packed and entertaining. Cheers and clapping at the end. Lots of T-shirts handed out as we went into theater. Thanks Couch Potato!

This movie was cute. The movie came from a very honest perspective when dealing with the daughter and mother relationship. Not sure what the boys thought, although I heard one gentleman remark that Barymore's directing was 'brilliant!"

THE INVENTION OF LYING
Saw tonight at Mission Valley AMC. Thought in the beginning things said were crule and mean. Got into it more as movie progressed. Lot of people commented they liked it. Just a OK movie for me. Thanks FilmMetro!

film metro i would like to know if its possible to have movie screenings everyday of the week or do they have to be only on mon tue wed and thursdays why not on fridays

Boys Are Back
Very realistic events on the impact on a family who experience the loss of a family member or friend through death. Very well done! Filmed in Australa and England. Thanks FilmMetro.

Sorority Row a Winner
If you thought the frat house orgy scenes in Animal House were outrageous, you've got to see Sorority Row which grossly outdoes Animal House in every way. Ample nudity, of course, is one factor that puts this movie on a different level (up or down, depending on your point of view). And, of course, this isn't a wild and crazy college comedy. The serious murder mystery, that keeps killing people in shocking ways, fully lives up to its advertising. Definitely worth seeing. As a parent, I can only hope the party scenes are nothing like what really goes on these days. As a guy, I can only ask, is it too late for me to go back to college?
