September Issue????
Did ANYBODY manage to pick up a pass to September Issue? I tried several times while it was "available", and was given the boot each time, saying that no tickets were available when I hit the "reserve" button. I have a feeling there was a glitch, and no passes were successfully delivered.

New Film Metro Comment Rules
see http://www.filmmetro.com/feeds/ to read the posting from July that has many comments now removed as "trading screen passes". And why is Movierider's post "pending review" over 12 hours as after he posted it. Just curious. I do see the scripting errors are gone for now, so thank you very much. Anyone who sees the X Games 3D showing tonight - could you leave a post after with a review ? Thanks !

Shorts Review
Terrific kid’s movie with plenty of A-list stars, also the special effects were excellent. The movie played along a similar method as PULP FICTION, where you jump from scene to scene to tell the story. For me the funnier feature I especially enjoyed was how they incorporated what we all thought was just a short movie before the actual movie (like what we see at PIXAR movies) into the actual movie. There were a couple of spots where it was obviously acting, but for the most part it flowed well; and after all this is a kid’s movie. Don’t get up as soon as the movie ends; there are a few clips to wrap up the loose ends. For a kid’s movie I give it a 4 out of 5.

District 9 - MovieFloss.com
First off, I got there 2 hrs before show started. So I was about 25th person in line. By show time, I was 200 behind. People letting their friends in at the last minute. Upsetting but oh well. Nothing you can do. I really don't want to say much about this film because on of the best part of it is not knowing where it's going to lead you. This is not a "cookie Cutter" type movie. District 9 pulls all the stops to make this movie captivating. By making the aliens feel as if they were human, the true plot of the movie is very apparent. The notion of aliens been an inferior race quickly disappears and you are in for a ride out of this world.

district 9
we waited on line 2 hours before getting in. I seem to be the only one on the planet that found this movie repulsive. Walked out after 35 minutes. Can't remember the last time i did that.
