The Goods was Great
The Goods was outrageously funny. Filled with so many laugh-out-loud moments. Even when you're not laughing, it holds your interest in every scene because everything that happens is so off-the-wall and totally unexpected. Truly great adult entertainment.

Ponyo
Saw Ponyo - enjoyed it, though it took me 20 minutes to become accustomed to the Japanese animation (seems it hasn't changed much since the 1960's Speed Racer style) - but then the story pulled me in. Cute movie, and I guess I have to applaud Disney for putting their money behind something a little different. Definitely the inspiration for "The Little Mermaid" movies. Enjoyed Liam Neeson's voice-over the most as Fujimoto, father of the little mermaid.

G.I. Joe Review
Where to begin with this movie? The horrible story? The horrible casting? Or maybe I should start on how this film is nothing like the original cartoon series. The casting was horrible, with the exception of Sienna Miller and Marlon Wayans. What they did to Cobra Commander was just wrong on so many levels. I'm sick of how these movie studio's take something that was so great to all of us growing up, and turn it into this piece of junk.

G.I. JOE REVIEW
Where to begin? As far as summer popcorn movies go it's ok. But for this movie to be called G.I. Joe, it should be a crime. This movie has nothing to do with the original cartoon series. The casting was horrible, with the exceptions of Marlon Wayans and Sienna Miller. It makes me sick when movie studios take something great and turn it into summer popcorn junk. If you must see it, go in the morning so won't have to pay full price.
