so the galleria mall is soooo much safer. bull, did anyone see that there was a fight at the galleria mall regal movies on chistmas night. it happens every where. all those people that are afraid of elmwood and only wanted to go to galleria, what are you going to do? stay home is my suggestion!

Theaters
Geez, although it does upset me to hear about any violence; it can happen to anyone, anywhere at any time - not just movie theaters. I am from the "burbs" and no I don't have a lot of money. I work everyday to live here. I enjoy seeing movie screenings as much as I can - obviously, just like the rest of you or you wouldn't be on this site.

who cares?
My wife and I have gone to Regal Elmwood, Walden Galleria, and Regal Transit theaters and haven't had any problems at all although, through our own fault we missed a few because we didn't get there early enough however, the Regal theaters have always let us pick another movie out to see when we get there BEFORE the free preview started and couldn't get in due to overbooking. We live in the 'burbs, don't drive a Porsche, and we'll take a free preview wnytime. Buffalo already gets a bad enough rap so quit complaining and if you don't want to go there, DON'T!

The Elmwood Regal is perfectly safe--all you little suburbanites should stay in the suburbs and PAY to see movies because you can afford to-leave your Porsches at home and take mass trans if you're so concerned

sorry us "city dwellers" aren't scared with going to a movie preview in the city of buffalo! Get off your high horse! The reality show idea that you pitched to us wouldn't be very good, I wouldn't see it even it is was for free. If you scared to go to elmwood, ill gladly take your tickets, I missed out on a couple good ones there. TO film metro: PLEASE SHOW PREVIEWS WHEREVER POSSIBLE. THANK YOU!!!

be sensible
Elmwood and Amherst are both fine. Lock your car, as you should anywhere. I live in Niagara county and go to both theatres, and North Park as well. Never had a single problem, even as a single woman.

elmwood theater is ok
i was at the Galleria about a week ago and I had my car broken into so its not just elmwood. I went to the church that was out of there and they had no problem either, if they did they might not have had it there. Transit is too far for me, though I still would go. Now a days every where is unsafe not just the city, its just less noticeable in the suburbs but you still have your hookers and drug dealers in the suburbs too. So, Keep it coming Film Metro! Thanks!!
