The Blind Side
Just saw a screening of The Blind Side last night. The audience was predominantly filled with a notoriously hard-to-sell-a-message-to group; teenage boys and girls. Their spontaneous outbursts throughout and animated conversations afterwards made it clear that they were relating to this true story. The Blind Side has truth, warmth, humor, sorrow, and charm without sappiness. It reminds us how one act of doing the right thing, simply because it is the right thing, can become a pivot point in the trajectory of multiple lives. Go see this movie and take along the people you care about, especially your kids. If family outings are "too uncool" at your house just send your teenagers to see The Blind Side, then let them think it was their own idea!

This Is It
I just attended an advance screening of the Michael Jackson "This Is It" tour rehearsal film. WOW. Let there be no doubt, MJ was truly a production genius and he remains a peerless performer. My heart is broken all over again ...

Paranormal Activity
I agree. I think we need to get a screening in the area for this. I would pay big bucks to see it, but if I could get tickets for free I'd be just as happy :) C'mon FilmMetro!

Paramornal Activity
Com mon Film Metro, try to bring "Paramornal Activity" to Buffalo! I don't even know if this is where I'm suppose to put this, but I still haven't figured out how to put something on the side.

Tinkerbell
What a great childrens film. My niece & nephew loved the movie. Didn't move once during the entire film! (When they get bored they are usually up and down asking to go to the restrooms.) Thanks FilmMetro for offering a childrens' movie. Oh, I liked it too!

Zombieland Revisited
OK, OK, I'll fess up. I've seen Zombieland multiple times now and still think it ROCKS. Especially the Woody Harrelson character's zestful extermination proclivities. Gotta say, that man is just one h..l of a "Natural Born (Zombie) Killer"!!!

Bright Star
I loved the movie. Period piece movies are great! Sad ending.
