Julie And Julia
Wonderfully done! 4 stars, Merrill Streep was the quintessential Julia Child. She brought out the side of the real Julia Child I never new. Stanley Tucci was also very bright in his part as Julia's Hubby, and will probably be overlooked in the Oscar category, as to the limit they used him. As far as the rest of the movie, like I said it was wonderful. I would love to see this film over and over, like I did for Saturday Night Fever 30+ years ago. By the way I saw that movie 10 times in 2 weeks. I really hope that this 1 does not get overlooked for Oscar nods! Thanks Film Metro!!!!!

Julie & Julia It was good! And I don't think it was to lnog as someone wrote, about 15 minutes longer. When you pay for tickets with prices going higher would you rather have a shorter movie or longer? Oh, I do appreciate any tickets, but I did get for this movie from one of my other places.

can you give a brief idea of what you were speaking of on the 7/16/2009 Film Metro News, because some of us have not received one for about a month. By the way, if any one has any idea why some of us might not have gotten one for a while plesae tell us.

Meryl Streep was a crack up as Julia Child! What superb acting. The accent, her facial expressions and mannerisms. We laughed our butts off. It was FUNNY!!! Thanks FM for another GREAT FLICK!
