how early to arrive |

| went to a 7:30pm free screening a few weeks ago. got there an hour early and there was a line around the block. i asked the first person in line what time they had gotten there. "3pm"
they were willing to wait 4 1/2 hours standing in line!! i did get in and found my favorite seats - way in the back. |

| It depends on the popularity of the movie.
And the kind of seat you like. 1.5 to 2hrs in advance is safe. 1hr is risky. 4hrs is for those who have nothing else to do. |
