So is this a real screening website. And how many people do you think get overbooked for a theatre and how early should you get there?

overbookings
It really depends on the film. If you go to the only screening of say "The Mummy" you probably want to get there no later than one hour before showtime. If you are going to one of several screenings of a film that is likely to have a lesser BO appeal then you can arrive much later. My last 2 films were "The Rocker" which I could have walked into at showtime (but I would never recommend banking on that), and Pineapple Express that was extremely overbooked, though you probably still would have gotten in if you arrived 30 minutes early. I have only not gotten into one film at these kinds of showings. It was Shrek 3 and I arrived one hour early, but it was the critics screening and probably the only local screening of the film. Bottom line, the likelier you think the film had the potential to be a huge hit, the earlier you should show up.

THIS IS REAL!
yes this all real - the tix and screenings are real - i have attended ove 20 movies in the last year from this sight - i LOVE it! Screening of smaller art house films require at least a 45 minute arrival to assure entry, but big budget films with popularity need at least an hour to 1 1/2 hours early time to NOT get shut out. These acreenings are a LOT of fun! Ive made new friends with fellow movie lovers and its a blast to share insights and opinions with these people. I recomend watching the total number of screenings for any given movie and what type of screening - I.E. word of mouth > usually a smaller house, or promotional screening > usually a big turn out. But its fun and all legit! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
