Synopsis:
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment’s big screen adaptation of Marvel’s legendary Super Hero IRON MAN will launch into theaters on May 2, 2008. Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the story of a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. The film also stars Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Oscar nominees Terrence Howard and Jeff Bridges and is directed by Jon Favreau.

| There's got to be a glitch. Look at the time and the theater release date was wrong. Tickets were never made availible because I've been checking every 5 seconds since 10 o'clock PST. Oh well I'll just stay home and watch the Sharks loose to Dallas again. |

| tickets were distributed via SF Chron (thank you!!!), SF Examiner, sfStation, LIVE105/SFWeekly for 4/29 in SF. lots of passes went out. passes for 4/30 at Century Tanforan 20 are/were available, in person only, at Bessini Furniture, Tanforan, next to JCP. |

| ... decked out as the red & gold *tin man* will get special early admit seating in the "Stark Enterprises" section of the theater. this info is printed on the 4/29 SF pass. you may also still need to have a ticket, though.
excelsior, an' all that jazz...
