Stop-loss
Although the movie had good intentions, in my opinion it was a long car ride to nowhere.

Good Movie
I thought it was good, the subject matter is kind of messed up, but it's happening in real life. Makes me respect the courage of the soldiers abroad... not the war but the Soldiers. I have definitely been thinking about the soldiers a lot since I saw the film last night.

Can't wait!
Some of the main parts in this movie were filmed in my hometown (Lockhart, TX) and the cloths Ryan and Channing are wearing came from my job (Lucky Brand Jeans). I can't wait to see this movie!!!!!!!

Stop Loss
I hope this film reaches a wide audience. It has made me think about our young men, how brave they are, how families are affected and I learned about a new phrase....Stop-Loss. I hope many people go and see this film and learn about Stop-Loss.

An eye opener
Makes you wonder how many soldiers you know in your area are forced by our president to fight for our country. When they volunteered at least then they believed in fighting for us. But, it goes to show what happens when you throw the drafting out in the country. Maybe if there was drafting some of the violence and killing would slow down. And us as citizens are living in a free country? They fight for a country that thrives on the rights of the citizens. Yes they signed a contract but, with this Stop-loss "order" it seems the wars will never truly end and the president only forces our wo/men, our brothers/sisters, fathers/mothers, sons/daughters, our own loved ones to die at war. with no hope to live out a life with their families and grow old with them.

Very Intense... ENJOYED the movie A+
On the news we here all the time about bombings and fallen men in the Iraq war. We hear about the death toll in Iraq so often it doesn't have the same impact on us. This movie really shows first hand what our soldiers are experiencing and that they are not just a number or statistics. These soldiers are friends and family. I really hope this film reaches out to everyone and that we all know the gruesome truth of this war. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

THOUGHT PROVOKING
I did not know what stop-loss meant before i saw the movie--its crazy that the government can FORCE you to serve another tour when they lead you to believe that your going home for good

Stop-Loss
This movie hit the right spot and illustrates a different perspective to the issues within our "war" in Iraq. I personally have friends who have gone through this same heartache and luckily have lived to tell about it. Perfect, realistic movie for all war supporters to reevaluate their stance.
