Meh
I liked the movie a lot, but I also didn't like it. The end was much better than the beginning. I was annoyed by the forced humor between husband and wife during the beginning scene. I didn't think Swank's lines were plausible. I couldn't see her saying those things in real life. But as the movie progressed, I enjoyed the plot more. I liked the new guys she tried to date. And I liked the way she handled it. It was annoying how she carried the urn with her everywhere. I didn't like that. There also appeared to be an inconsistency. I thought she said that they married when she was 19. However, during the scene where they were meeting for the first time, I thought she said that she was on her way back from a post-college trip. And most people aren't post college at 18/19. However, that's relatively minor. One of my favorite parts was the description of how the mother didn't feel like she was a part of any party until her husband somehow acknowledged her. I look for that in my best friend, and it's a weakness, I think. It really gave me something to think about. Overall, I liked the movie, and I'd recommend it to others.

P.S. I love you
this movie was heartwarming and at times funny. I saw Hillary Swank in Million Dollar Baby and I thought she was excellent then! She gave an outstanding performance in this picture. Everyone seemed to be just right for their parts. The leading man (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) was excellent and he and hillary worked very well together. will recommend this movie to others.

Different from book, but still good
I liked this movie a lot; I had read the book before seeing the movie because I saw Gerard Butler on the cover and sadly, then read the back. The movie strays far from the book, but still maintains to be entertaining and witty. However, the only thing that I really didn't enjoy during the movie was Harry Connick Jr's character, which was much different in the book, who often came off as an idiot in the film who just spouts out random inconsistent things. So, for all of you have read and loved the book to where you wouldn't want it changed in any shape or form, do not see the movie....you'll hate it. But, if you are looking for an entertaining romantic comedy that makes you smile and go on an emotional rollercoaster that has you crying one minute and then laughing the next, then go for it! Oh! The Gerry Butler striptease and naked Jeffery Dean Morgan scene aren’t too bad either. :)

Great date movie!
I didn't expect much from this, but it turned out to be much better than I thought. A very easy to follow, heart-warming, and romantic movie with cute guys!!! There are some stretches here and there, but over all, it's a cute happy-ending movie. After all, who wants to be depressed during holidays? I'll recommend it to others.

Love after Death
I enjoyed this movie, but walked away feeling like I had just watched another Hollywood fairytale. Though it didn't follow the usual happy ending formula, I found myself wondering if anything like this has happened to a real person. Can you love a person enough to know what they will be thinking at specific moments during the year after your untimely death? Could you really reach out from beyond the grave in a manner that is so present that your widow can still feel you all around her? I wish that I could say I believe that this is possible, but unfortunately, I don't. That doesn't diminish the performances of Swank and Butler, which were thoughtfully and lovingly executed. And Jeffrey Morgan's interlude with Swank in Ireland was fantastic. I really enjoyed the acting.

Excellent Movie
Heartwarming, very romantic and funny movie. Hillary Swank was excellent in this movie. I wish it was possible for love after death for all people. I'll recommend this to others.

This is a real gem. A movie with a lot of heart. Although I think the movie would have been better if jennifer garner was the lead and not hilary swank.
