| "21" is a Must See!
|
| I was going to another movie Thursday night and almost there got a call from one of my good buddy regulars that there was a screening of "21". Luckily someone had an extra pass and I got up front where they saved me a spot in the line.
It wasn't max crowded (or I would have known about it before). One of those screenings where they give out the passes to some small companies, small shops and such for advertising with them.
Anyway, the movie was fantastic. Great plot sizzler & twists, lots of action, good acting, sad/funny, hot scenery, good character building, and too long (2:04) but worth it.
I could say a lot more positive, but just take my word (from someone that goes to 2 - 3 screenings and 2 - 3 paid movies a week), it's the best movie I have seen in months. |

| Gambling Goodness
|
| Saw this last night at a screening in Santa Monica. Movie was really good. The plot moved along quickly and had a solid mixture of drama, romance and comedy. Several twists kept me guessing to figure out what was going to happen. A great weekend movie. |

| I've never read the book or anything but I actually enjoyed it. The beginning was a bit too rushed because they got into the story quite quickly. All of sudden they wanted the main character in their "club" after 1 class? Maybe if there was more character/story development but overall I enjoyed it. It really made we want to go to Vegas again! |
