| The Fall
|
| Wow, so this will be my first screening through FM. Looking especially forward to this film, I mean this is probably the most anticipated film of the year. Indy 4, sure, but that's like a gimmie, along with Iron Man, etc.
The Fall looks brilliant, especially with Spike Jonez and David Fincher behind it. It looks like a great nominee for best cinematography. Well, looking forward to it, I hope it doesn't disappoint.
Tickets were gone within minutes, so I guess you need to be really on top of this site when tickets are released. I read that tickets were gone within seconds for Indy 4. Wow.
I'm going to have to get a onesheet for this film, the poster is as intriguing as the trailer.
BTW, if anyone is interested in movie posters, I am a broker, only deal in original theatrical material, and specialize in Japanese posters for U.S. films.
I look forward to seeing and possibly meeting people at the screening. BTW, if you haven't already been to the new Landmark Greenwood Village, you're in for a real surprise. I worked there during the opening (before my back suffered under not one but two disc problems), and the theater is off the hook. Full bar, wicked seats, VIP seating, great menu, nice screens, and I can't wait until the bring something digital there, because they have a state-of-the-art Sony, top of the line, I think it's a 4k, can't remember, only talked to the Sony guy once during the construction and setup before it opened.
Peace all! |

| Tarkem's Fall (2006) (no spoliers)
|
| the cell (2000) was utter dreck, don't for one moment judge this work by that...
the fall (2006) is a sincere and moving fantasy entertainment... visually rich with originally composed visions, big and small, of true imagination... pungently coherent, spiced with suspenseful plot turns and surprises... smiling nods to the real details of the 1920s flicker era... kudos to Tarsem... cherubic Catinca Untaru will disarm you and heighten the pathos of every critical moment...
the packed audience i attended with laughed together on many beats and warmly applauded at the film's conclusion...
well worth seeing on a big screen, more than once...
