My Sister's Keeper
As someone else noted, Nicholas Sparks is not the author. I felt that this performance/adaptation of the book is done well. Alec Baldwin as the lawyer did a nice job with the right touch of caring. Joan Cusak was a little quirky in her facial movements that I felt were not needed. Cameron Diaz was believable as a mother, but I felt that love for the younger daughter was obsolete. Not enough emphasis is given to the "well" children, but that is how life "is". I enjoyed the movie, as I did reading the novel.

My Sister Keeper
I saw it last night with a friend in charlotte nc, who had a ticket. I like the way the story was set up- Showing events with naratoring, like reading a diary. The picture was a tear jerker. I like the close ups you can since the feeling of each persons in the family. Well put together. Never read the book but I would give it a 5 star Great performance!

My Sister's Keeper Review
Do they provide Kleenex at your concession stand? They should if they are going to show this movie. Just in case your theater doesn't had you tissue as you buy your ticket, make sure to bring your own. My Sister's Keeper was sad, but sweet, and beautiful. Every actor/actress, young, and older, seasoned or new did a superb/award winning job in their performances. The photography of this movie & the theme revolving the scrapbooks were amazing and truly made the film and connected me to this family.  My Sister's Keeper had enough cute funny anedotes between the heartbreaking moments to keep the tears from over flowing, it was a good mix, which was unexpected. It was a great movie, that was emotional because of the connections you will make with each character.  Unfortunately, timing is bad, with the recent iconic deaths in Hollywood, the economy, a epidemic, and just life, this is not a movie I would pay to see right now and I know from talking to others they agree and that's why they made no plans to see this movie yet. To me summer nor winter is a good release time for this type of film. I do not need a entertaiment outlet to be another thing that depresses me. But I will for sure recommend that you see this movie at least once regardless.    I Look foward in seeing this movie get nominated for some many awards but not I'm quite sure I would call it a winner.      In close, Great, Great, beautiful, sad, moving movie but not one I would want to see again nor tell my friends or family to see unless they wanted to be put in a gloomy mood, so wait and rent the DVD so you can cry & wallow in your wondering thoughts in the comfort of your home.
