| I tried to explain what the movie was about to my pre-teen,teen and husband from the written preview. Doesn't do the movie any justice! Watch the trailer! See the movie! We all enjoyed it thoroughly- definintely not another HS-musical movie!

| We were a group of 11 ranging in age from 8 - 69. Our group included 2 dad's ages 41 & 48. We all thought this movie was a 4 out of 5 stars. We all wish that Hollywood would produce more movies like Bandslam. |

| a sweet, entertaining, well-done movie. I agree that there should be more movies out there comparable to this one. There were young kids in the audience, and there was no reason to plug their ears or cover their eyes (and, they seemed entertained, too)! And Salesman Sam was crying at the ending . . . guess he's really a softie at heart . . . oh, wait, maybe he was weeping because he used the ticket that he had tried to sell :o) |

| Screened this movie in SAN DIEGO last Saturday and we really enjoyed it. It was refreshing. The acting was great...Storyline was great. Music was great. No doubt a movie for all ages. It will have you laughing (my husband is hard to please), crying, moving to the music, very relatable... So much talent and creativity expressed on screen. Writers and directors did yourselves proud! We would recommend and see all over again!!! Yeah and buy the DVD when it comes out! ...Definitely one to check out!!! Thanks for the passes Film Metro... |

| Ok Movie it didn't really feel like one of those movies you take your kids to go see and you sit through the whole movie begging for mercy. it was nothing like that. and yes you know what i mean. deffinatly a movie to see if you have to kill some time. |

| Screened in Portland august 3rd, it was fantastic though because im a giant vanessa hudgens fan my review is a bit bias haha i really liked the movie but seriously that will guy can get BOTH Aly and Vanessa? The music was great, very relatable, and hysterically funny. This is not a HSM movie. there was some drama but nothing a good laugh couldn't fix THANKS Film Metro! |

| What an awesome surprise --thought I was 'sacrificing' for my 5 year old daughter because she loves Vanessa Hudgens. Full of laughs, good acting, and runs the gamut of emotions and issues that high schoolers might experience --not HSM4. Grac6e |

I took my cousin with me and we were both surprised. I didn't think it would be that good, and i'm a fan of Aly and Vanessa. It surprised me how much I loved it. The acting was good, music was great, and deffinitely had laughable moments. I suggest people see it. Not only teens, but adults too. My cousin and I are deffinitely going to see it again! We can't stop talking about the funny moments. If you see the movie, you'll know what i'm talking about. |

| Fantastic! When I went to see Bandslam, I had low expectation. I thought not another band movie. How surprised I was, when this delightful gem unfolded in front of me. Will Burton (Gaelan Connell) the new kid in town, painfully shy, and has an obsession with contacting David Bowie his idol. Charlotte Banks (Aly Michalka) a popular cheerleader who dropped everyone she knew to become different more edgier version of herself. Sa5m (Vanessa Hudgens) the 5 is silent in her name, is a lone wolf searching for herself and finding friends along the way.
Karen Burton (Lisa Kudrow) is Will’s mom, she love’s him unconditionally, but can’t understand why his peers don’t see, what she see’s in him. Karen decided to move to New Jersey to help her sister with her business. Will who’s been wishing to leave the small town that he lives in, was ecstatic to hear the news. Then he ponders about the move and starting over. Shortly after arriving to the new school will see’s sa5m sitting alone reading a book. Charlotte see’s Will and is curious about the new boy. Later that day, she spotted Will doing a good deed and decided to talk to him. After a weird short interlude with him, she realizes that Will is very knowledgeable in music. Charlotte convinces Will to manage her band so they can compete in a band in “bandslam” contest. Which is more popular then sports in New Jersey? The story builds up from there.
The chemistry of the cast was well displayed. The two writers Josh A. Cagan and Todd Graff had a specific idea. Mr. Graff who is also the director made sure that this film was not to be dub (typical). And by-gosh they seceded. This is not a cookie cutter version of a band movie; this is a unique version as the characters themselves. Stand up and dance because you will.
I give this 4 ½ stars.

| a truly excellent movie tho Ud never know it from the totally lame trailer. There's actually a plot and some food for thot. In this cross between Napolean Dynamite and Dream Girls a lonely loser ends up with 2 hot babes as BFFs, and along the way there a poignant moments and some LOLs. I enjoyed every minute and give it 5* out of 5!!!!! |
