| This has got to be one of the most smashing movies of the decade. This is a must see performance for all ages. As stated, it starts with a separation caused by a driven desire to be the best in a musical career & moves you through magical moments of Love and Fantasy with music. It end with being reunited by the same force that pulled the entire family apart. You can't help but be totally captured by a variety of emotions thoughout this performance. Outstanding. You cannot sleep through this one. |

| What a wonderful experience... orphaned by circumstance indeed! The characters in this film shine! While a nice review, I don't feel the "driven to be the best" comment explains at all what happens to these two people who have a beautiful and lovely moment that ends up shaping their lives. The simplicity in that connection is captured within and the melody chases through and weaves it all together. Sip this one like the finest wine, it will leave a lasting impression and a smile on your face. |

| I watched this movie at two screenings and then went back and paid to see it a third time with my children. August Rush is superb material! If it doesn't get Oscar nominations', I will be very suprised. Icredibly heartwarming and what an ending! |

| This movie was great very heartwarming movie up until the very end.. I was left going NOW WHAT?!?!?!?!?! kind of like the sopranos ending left you wanting more which is a sign of a great movie involving the audience YAY!!! going to see it again this weekend! |

| It's not often that a decent family movie comes out. I was entertained by this beautiful movie. I rooted for the characters, all of them, forced apart by unfortunate circumstances. The plot was beautifully written and the actors did a spectacular job. All around a great movie!!! I can't wait till it comes out and I can go and see it again. |

| Predictable...but a good watch

| Movie was predictable but I enjoyed it. It amazed me how autistic the boy seemed! Dazed and definitely confused! Robin Williams playing sort of a cross between a bad and good guy? Didn't get that whole scenerio... and Terrence Howard... what was the deal with his passion? The movie was missing a few KEY points like uhm...WHY things were happening and more DEPTH but all-in-all, it's a family movie. |

| AUGUST RUSH WAS VERY UPLIFTING, WARM TONING MOVIE. THE SOUND TRACK WAS FANTASTIC TO LISTEN TO. CERTAINLY EVERYONE MAY BUY THE DVD ON "AUGUST RUSH" MOVIE. |

| August was a rush!

| What a rush that boy was and his character speaks of many kids who need help devloping their talents and abilities from us as parent community and teachers. I would not be surprised if their is an academy award nominee from this movie. It just made you feel like like life does have a purpose and we can change society one kid and family at a time. certainly will bring everyone to see it and get the dvd. Hollywood more movies like this we bring me out to the movies often. |
