Slow Paced

| I saw this movie last night at a Film Metro free screening in Baltimore. It was rather S L O W! I love both of the stars, but it could have & should have been MUCH funnier. I only laughed out loud twice. I was disappointed in under-usage of Kevin Hart, Brian Hooks & Malcom Jamal Warner as "bad guys". There were definately too many lulls in the stroy where the theater was totally silent. I noticed several people who had fallen asleep. Overall it was watchable, but surley didn't live up to my expectations or the hype! I suggest waiting 4 months until it comes out on video. |

Fools Gold

| Saw this movie the other night at Carousel Mall in Syracuse, NY. This was truly a very good comedy. It started slow at first but McConaughey and Hudson were wonderful together. I loved the story line. They are getting divorced, end up on a billionaires boat and find the gold. Should see this movie. |

| saw a preview of this awful film last week. great advertsing campaign, but a bad movie. story and dialogue were terrible. skip this movie and go see a good movie. |

| This was possibly close to the best comedies I've seen in a long time. Matt McConaughey and Kate Hudson are great together. I've always liked Donald Sutherland since M.A.S.H., the movie. Too bad a silimiar film, "Sahara", also staring Matt McConaughey and equally good, came out a couple of years before. I love the Bahama I islands and grew up on the East coast of Central Floria (Cocoa Beach to Vero Beach) before movie inland to Orlando. I grew up over there while Mel Fisher was pulling in tons of treasure and had a museum. The laws were more lenient then matey and we would be the 1st to see them eyeballing the gold and silver and Mel lett'n me blow me mouth on the golden dragon necklace. It were a pirates' life to be. |
