BAD LIEUTENANT is a surprisingly great movie. The story line is unbelievably current and a deterrent from alcoholism and/or illegal drug addiction. Spiritual/Biblical undertones are conveyed in what is Nicholas Cage's greatest performance. A must see movie, over and over again.
